REF542plus In this project, we will build a smart farming system using the Internet of Things. The goal of the project is to help farmers obtain real-time data (temperature, humidity, soil moisture, soil temperature) for effective environmental monitoring, thereby improving their total production and product quality.
This NoDEMCu-powered iot system for smart farming uses consists of a DHT11 sensor, a humidity sensor, a DS18B20 sensor probe, an LDR, a water pump and a 12V led light strip. When the Iot-based agricultural monitoring system is launched, it checks soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and soil temperature. It then sends this data to the iot cloud for real-time monitoring.
If the soil moisture falls below a certain level, it automatically starts the pump. We used to build automated plant irrigation systems that sent alerts on the phone, but didn't monitor other parameters. In addition, rain alarms and soil moisture detection circuits also help build intelligent agricultural monitoring systems.
