Using an innovative ion optics system and collision pool technology, the LCMS-8040 offers increased multi-reaction monitoring (MRM) sensitivity, enhanced focusing and reduced ion loss through a multi-pole ion lens, resulting in a five-fold increase in serpine (S/N). These improvements can also increase the sensitivity of the scan mode, thus expanding the application field of LC/MS.
