The DS3800NGTA is a GE manufactured PCB used as a general purpose test signal board for the Mark IV series. The Mark IV was created for gas turbine/steam turbine management to automate some procedures such as start-up and shutdown. It can also be used for air, water and fuel emissions monitoring and helps keep systems working within safe operating parameters.
The DS3800NGTA has two communication connectors connected to the board. This includes A 218A4553-1 A/mp 533002-1 connector located on its left edge and a multi-pin vertical connector connected to the top right corner of the motherboard. The second connector is attached to an optional auxiliary plate located above the top right corner of the board attached to the four nylon pins of the DS3800NGTA.
An edge of DS3800NGTA has been aligned. It is also marked 6BA04 and bears the GE seal. The extraction clip is installed in the two upper right corners. Extractors help technicians remove or insert PCBS, especially in narrow locations.
The DS3800NGTA consists of a toggle switch, four leds, two transistors, three potentiometers, three resistor network arrays, and five test points. All components are marked on the board.
