The Mark IV is a range of turbine automation controls for gas and steam turbines. The Mark series has been in use since the late 1960s. The technology used in the Mark IV was developed from the late 1940s. The Mark IV control system is designed to meet all requirements for turbine control.

The system controls liquids, gases or both types of fuel according to load control and speed requirements. The Mark IV also controls temperature and water and steam injection.
