The IS200EACFG2B is a 1000V exciter AC feedback board included in GE Energy's EX2100 excitation control family. This particular model of the EACF is the B revision, which despite being discontinued by General Electric is still available in the industrial automation surplus market.



The exciter AC Feedback Board (EACF) board IS200EACFG2B is part of the EX2100 innovation series produced by General Electric. The module is the B version of the IS200EAFG2 module with an operating voltage of 1000 VRMS. The IS200EACFG2B module is visually identical to the previous module, with the same four transformers along the board, and has the same datum level components as the previous module.



The IS200EACFG2B module must be connected to the EBKP module in the EX2100 innovation family. When you connect the EBKP module, you will connect through three nine-pin sub-D connectors on the side of the IS200EACFG2B module. These three connectors are labeled J504, J509, and J514. These three connectors are crucial when connecting the EACF module, as the EACF model does not have any indicators to inform the user of what is happening with the IS200EACFG2B feedback board. The main function of the IS200EACFG2B board is to bridge the AC supply voltage and current feedback together.
