Product description

The IS200EISBH1A model is an exciter ISBus board that is part of the EX2100 series produced by General Electric. The board is a special communication interface board used with C, M1 and M2 control modules. Another function of the module is to send and receive fiber optic signals through the backplane connector. There are six fiber optic connectors on the front panel, and a generator field on the panel accepts current and voltage.

The IS200EISBH1A board transmits the feedback it receives through the backplane controller to the DSPX controller, and it will also use the RS-232C and DSPX modules to communicate between tools and keyboard ports. This module will typically manage all fiber optic communications throughout the cabinet. Physically, the EISB module is a 3U high module and also a single slot. Part IS200EISBH1A also transmits the signal to the Ground Detection Module (EGDM).
