The 1746sc-INO4I is Spectrum Control's analog pure current output module. The module has four (4) isolated channel outputs. The 1746sc-INO4I occupies a slot in the 1746 input/output chassis. The 1746sc-INO4I draws 5 mA of current from the backplane at 120 volts DC, but to minimize the current load on the backplane, the 1746sc-INO4I can be connected to an external power supply rated at 24 volts DC. The 1746sc-INO4I has a DIP switch that specifies whether the module draws power from the backplane or an external power supply.
