Allen-Bradley 1747-L514 is an SLC 500 processor unit. Also known as the SLC 5/01 controller, this module is a single slot width controller. It is mounted on slot 1746 of any 0 modular chassis. It is equipped with 4K user memory and embedded DH-485 communication interface.

The 1747-L514 is designed for small and medium-sized automation requirements. It is capable of controlling up to 30 I/O modules and can be allocated up to 31,746 chassis. It supports the implementation of extended I/O and remote I/O enclosures using various supported communication adapters via this SLC 500 controller.
