Product description

The DS3800HXTA is a PCB designed to be used as a Series 6 transmitter in the Speedtronic (Mark IV) series. Designed for gas/steam turbine control, the Mark IV series is still a useful system despite being obsolete, as the carefully designed integrated chipset has built-in redundancy that automatically redistributes the system's load if one board experiences a problem. In this way, the uptime of the entire system is maximized. The Mark IV can be used for sequencing turbines and their auxiliary equipment as well as for cooling and start-up procedures.

DS3800HXTA is manufactured to the following specifications:

It is marked as aligned along an edge

It is drilled in the factory and can be installed at all four corners with options.

It has two clips attached to the two corners of the board

It has a series of spare PTH (electroplated through holes) for adding hardware.

It consists of five resistor network arrays. The resistance network can be used for analog-to-digital conversion, but also for voltage division.

It has a test point labeled "DCOM". It is located on the lower right half of the board.
