The GE Series 6 receiver board DS3800HXRA1E1E is designed for quick installation in a drive. The board has a modular connector at one end and a fixed rod at the other end. The GE Series 1 receiver panel DS6HXRA3800E1E also has a 2-pin connector between the fixed rods. The surface of the board is also equipped with 40 1-pin connectors for connecting to the sub-card, as well as 34 jumpers.

The GE Series 6 receiver board DS3800HXRA1E1E supports the child card by supplying power to the child card. The card cannot be installed in the motherboard rack inside the drive. It can only be mounted on top of the board. The board has four plastic brackets for mounting the card. The support prevents the card from touching the circuit board while providing secure hardware installation.
