The GE Series 6 receiver board DS3800HXRA is designed for quick installation in drives. The board has a modular connector at one end and a fixed rod at the other end. The GE Series 1 receiver board DS6HXRA also has 3,800 2-pin connectors between the fixed rods. The surface of the board is also equipped with 40 1-pin connectors for connecting to the sub-card, as well as 34 jumpers.

The GE Series 6 receiver board DS3800HXRA is also equipped with a bracket for attaching subcards. The subcard does not operate independently, but works with the motherboard. It receives power from the circuit board and signals from the circuit board. The signal is processed by the child card. Other signals are transmitted back to the board. The subcard provides additional processing and functionality to the motherboard. The sub-card is connected to the bracket. Each corner of the sub-card has a hole, and the bracket fits into the hole.
