Ge manufactured the DS3800HXMA1L1K as an expander printed circuit board module. The PCB fits GE's Mark IV Speedtronic system, which is designed for gas and steam turbine control. The Mark IV controls every part of a gas or steam turbine system and can protect it from unsafe operating conditions such as ultra-mild overspeed. The Mark IV can also be used for functions such as fuel, air, and emissions control, as well as turbine sequencing for start-up, shutdown, and cooling procedures.
