The DMC-1832 GALIL series is a PCI bus motion controller designed for the most cost-sensitive applications. The DMC-18×2 controller is suitable for 1- to 4-axis formats and allows control of stepper or servo motors in any combination of axes.

Any motion mode can be programmed, including linear and circular interpolation, contour, electronic drive, and ecam. In order to minimize costs, the following features are not available on the DMC-18×2 :5 to 8 axis control, input light isolation, dual encoder input, and auxiliary FIFO and DPRAM communication channels. If you need these features, choose the DMC-18×6 Accelera PCI controller.

Like all Galil controllers, the DMC-18×2 is programmed with simplified two-letter, intuitive commands and a full suite of software tools such as GDK for servo tuning and analysis.
