This product is a circuit board manufactured by General Electric. The DS3800HSHA1D1D is produced as part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series. The Mark series is responsible for the control of gas and steam turbines. Since the introduction of the Mark I in the 1960s, Mark products have been used for decades to ensure turbines work correctly and safely.

The DS3800HSHA1D1D has many different circuit components on the board. Spanning the length of the left side of the board is a jack connector port. On the other side of the board is a smaller connector port. If needed, these ports can be used to connect other components to the board or to connect the board to another board. Next to the large connector port is a medium-sized blue capacitor. Twenty-five (25) integrated circuits of different sizes are placed on the entire circuit board.

These integrated circuits contain many different components, such as capacitors, resistors, and diodes on each chip. A series of jumper pins with red jumpers are located on the top and bottom edges of the board. Scattered around the circuit board are small yellow capacitors and striped resistors of various colors. The right edge of the board has seven (7) test points labeled COM, RST, COM, DSYNC, SYNC, and DATA. Immediately adjacent to the test point are three (3) leds or light-emitting diodes. Two of the leds are red and the third is orange. There are also silver diodes located around the circuit board.
