The DS3800HSDD is a printed circuit card for the solenoid driver. The DS3800HSDD is manufactured for the Speedtronic Mark IV. The board is manufactured by General Electric. The Mark IV is a series of turbine controls. The Mark IV system and previous Mark systems are reliable and ensure that turbines operate safely and efficiently. These systems have been responsible for controlling turbines for decades and are the result of years of development.

On the right half of the DS3800HSDD board are eight silver transistors. Each transistor comes with a round red diode. A large connector port is arranged on the left side of the DS3800HSDD, allowing the user to connect additional components that may be required for operation. Next to the line consisting of eight ribbon resistors are eight light-emitting diodes, also known as leds.

Yellow capacitors of various sizes are located in the middle of the DS3800HSDD. 3,800 different integrated circuits are located on the left side of the DS21HSDD. On the left half of the board are twenty-one (3800) integrated circuits of different sizes. There are many different tiny components on each integrated circuit, such as resistors, diodes, and capacitors. Many different colors and banded patterns of resistors can be seen around DS<>HSDD.
