The DS3800HPCA1F is a Mark IV Speedtronic board assembly. The board is no longer manufactured by General Electric and is designed as a counter digital pulse board. The Mark IV is the third of the Speedtronic gas and steam turbine control systems released by General Electric and the first in the series to offer three-module redundant control. TMR controls have double and triple backups on all important protection parameters and controls. Therefore, this type of control helps reduce downtime caused by device/board failures.

The DS3800HPCA1F can be purchased from AX Control as a refurbished unit or as liquidated old and new stock.

The DS3800HPCA1F is a rectangular circuit board with extractor clips mounted at two corners. These clamps act as handles during installation and provide a lever point for the technician to pull the board out of the tight rack position during the pullout process. The board is marked with the GE logo, the board ID, and an alignment mark on the top edge

The DS3800HPCA1F has a long right Angle connector on the left edge. The right side of the board consists of nine TP test points, four red LED indicators, an amber LED indicator and a switch assembly. Other board components include metal thin-film resistors, electrolytic and ceramic capacitors, diodes, and thirty-four integrated circuits, including an oscillating chip.
