The DS3800HMPJ1A1A is a printed circuit board (PCB) designed as part of the Mark IV Speedtronic control system. Thanks to MKIV's triple modular redundant architecture, the Mark IV for controlling industrial gas turbine and steam turbine systems is a significant step forward in developing a reliable turbine control system compared to earlier Speedtronic systems. This design change using redundant and repetitive processors improves reliability and reduces downtime compared to previous GE turbine control systems.

The DS3800HMPJ1A1A usually comes with a board ID, multiple codes, and is marked on the top edge with letter codes and symbols to help with proper alignment. The leading edge of the board has two LED indicators mounted on its surface. One of them is a yellow LED and the other is red. The edge also includes several TP test points, three jumper switches, and a right Angle cable connector.
