The DS3800HMPF1B1B is one of the earliest versions of controller modules available for GE Mark IV Speedtronic systems. The MKIV is the first of Speedtronic's gas and steam management systems to offer TMR (Triple modular Redundancy) control.

The DS3800HMPF1B1B is a microprocessor 8086 based circuit board. It was built using the IBM 8086 chip. The chip is a third-generation microprocessor in a 40-pin package. The processor can transfer data between itself and other components in the form of 8 or 16 bits per bus cycle. It operates at a standard speed of 5 MHz.
