The General Electric DS3800HMHA1E1F is a circuit board assembly designed as part of the Speedtronic turbine control system. The DS3800HMHA1E1F was adapted to the later Speedtronic system, the Mark IV. The system was introduced in 1984 to replace earlier Speedtronic systems such as the MKI and MKII. IT is the first Speedtronic system to offer TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) control. While earlier systems were known for their reliability, the MKIV is still a major improvement in terms of reducing downtime and increasing overall reliability.

The DS3800HMHA1E1F is designed as a MH controller. The board is relatively small, weighing 0.63 pounds. It is equipped with two extraction clips on the leading edge. These clamps help technicians during installation and removal by providing a pivot point to pull the board out of the rack system while providing a safe location to hold the board in place during maintenance and replacement. The leading edge includes a right Angle connector for cable connections and three LED indicators. These indicators are yellow (1) and red (2).

The back of the board is occupied by a single backplane connector. This allows the board to communicate with other components within the system. The circuit board itself is filled with integrated circuits of various designs. Most of them are marked with their original factory number.
