Determining the location of the MT100 flow meter's multiple air/gas flow sensors in boiler piping and piping systems is critical for proper measurements, but also challenging when considering the channels and gaps for instrument installation and maintenance. The MT100 offers mast and single point flow elements to optimize flow measurement solutions.

FCI's versatile MT100 series multi-point mass flow meters feature proven accuracy, repeatability and compact heat dispersion flow sensor technology. They accurately monitor and report the flow and/or total flow of air and gas to achieve the precise combustion ratio required for optimal boiler performance to generate steam for cracking and other high-temperature refinery and other petrochemical production processes.

The MT100 flow meter combines state-of-the-art electronics with application-specific precision multi-point flow sensors in a rugged package designed for demanding operating environments. These meters provide direct mass flow measurement of air and gas with temperature compensation. They are equipped with one to eight flow sensing points. Sensors are inserted into multiple locations along the boiler burner pipe assembly, and their outputs are multiplexed and averaged to measure air and gas flow as well as cumulative flow.
