The GE Series driver/receiver board DS3800HDRA1B1B has a modular connector for connecting to the driver and a holding rod for holding the driver in the drive. The GE line driver/receiver board DS3800HDRA1B1B also has 2 jumpers and multiple capacitors. The board also features 2 40-pin connectors that can be accessed from the front of the board.

Another component on the board is a transistor-to-transistor logic (TTL) device. It serves as the interface logic between integrated circuits.

One end of the board is fitted with a modular connector. The modular connector is designed to connect to another modular connector on the back of the chassis in the driver. One modular connector meets a wide range of signal and power connection needs and provides connectivity. After removing the motherboard from the drive, the connection will be broken without the intervention of the service personnel. In other words, just remove the circuit board to end the signal and power connection. The modular connection facilitates the processing of command signals received by the circuit board. Modular connections also provide a way for the board to send command signals to other boards in the driver. During normal processing, the circuit board sends and receives signals many times to control the motor and moving parts.

On the other side of the board is the holding rod. They can be installed in slots in the board frame and lock the board in the frame. They protect the components by preventing the board from moving. They also maintain connections between modular connectors.
