The IC754VSI12CTD allows any operator or user to monitor or control a connected machine or process through the provided monitor, touch input interface and communication interface. To monitor the system, the supplied 12-inch color thin-film transistor (TFT) display provides visualization of the process through custom-designed simulations. In addition, the color display supports the implementation of color-coded animation and status display to improve the level of information. Control commands are entered via a touch screen, which allows the operator to enter commands directly by touching the appropriate runtime icon or object. Communication to the controller is accomplished in a point-to-point or multipoint serial topology using a single RS232 / RS485 combination port, while networking and multi-node communication is accomplished through an Ethernet communication interface that supports 10/100 Mbps transmission rates.

The IC754VSI12CTD is powered by a 24VDC external power supply and consumes less than 48W. When used with Proficy Machine Edition 5.0 or later, this action panel supports historical data logging, viewing, and Visual Basic.

The GE IC754VSI12CTD terminal is lightweight and designed as part of the QuickPanel group of modern interface machines. The IC754VSI12CTD terminal enables customers to interact with their machines using Proficy View(Machine Edition) programming software via the RS-232/RS-485 communication port and the associated HMI-CAB-C110 communication link. Users can use the touch screen to enter data and information.
