At each input near the signal input point, the filter reduces high-frequency noise and controls surges. The dry contact input on the H1 is powered by a floating 125 V DC (100-145 V DC) power supply controlled by the turbine. The 125 V DC bus is subject to current limitation in the distribution module before power is supplied to each contact input. As shown in the specification sheet, the H2 and H3 variants use lower voltages.
diagnosis
Perform the following diagnostic tests on the components on the patch board:
Measure the excitation voltage. If the excitation falls below 40% of the nominal voltage, the I/O component/board sets and locks a diagnostic warning.
As a test, all panel inputs are set to the disconnected contact (fail-safe) state. Any input that does not pass the diagnostic test is forced into fail-safe mode, resulting in a failure.
If the input from that board does not match the TMR voting values from all three boards, a fault is issued.
Each terminal board connector has its own ID device, which is queried by the I/O packet/board.
