The VME/VME64 single-board computer based on the Abaco Systems/VMIC VMIVME-7698 single-slot Cyon Socket 370 processor is equipped with an Intel Cyon processor with MMX. Celeron processors have 32-bit addressing and 64-bit data buses. The onboard DRAM is the dual port of the VMEbus. The system and video BIOS are provided in reprogrammable flash memory. The VMIVME-7698 provides users with three 16-bit timers (in addition to the system timer), compatible with the 82C54. These timers map to the I/O space and are completely software programmable.
