In addition to on/off and start/stop, the drive is equipped with two additional stop functions Off2 and
Closed according to Profibus standard 3. Off3 can be extended with 21.03 Emergency Stop mode to perform a stop according to class 1.
Connect this feature to the emergency stop button (off3) without any time delay. In case of 21.03 emergency stop mode = ramp stop timing relay (K15) must be set longer than 23.23 emergency stop time. For 21.03 SCram mode = Taxi stop drive immediately turn on power contactor.
Off2 turns off the DC current as quickly as possible and prepares the driver to turn on the power contactor or disconnect the power supply. For normal DC motor loads, the time zero of the forced DC current is less than 20 ms. This function should be connected to all signal and safety functions to turn on the power contactor. This feature is very important for 4-Q drives. Do not turn on the power contactor to regenerate current during this period.
