Allen-Bradley's 1785-CHBM ControlNet PLC-5 Hot return tube module is a backup module installed on the PLC-5 processor that allows ControlNet-enabled PLC-5 controllers to operate in backup mode.
The 1785-CHBM has a non-volatile user memory capacity of 100K words, and by removing the jumper on the module, its memory can be granted write protection. The module is designed to be fully compatible with 1785-L20C15, -L40C15 or -L80C5 processors and complies with CISPR 11: Group 1 Class A (with appropriate housing) radiation specifications.
The 1785-CHBM has an IEC rated operating temperature range of 0-600 C (32-140 0F), relative humidity of 5-95%, no condensation, and rated storage temperature range of -40-85 0C (-40-185 0F). It is tested and rated to withstand 500 operating vibrations at 2-10Hz, 30G operating shocks without derating, and 50G non-operating shocks. It weighs 7.88g and is UL, CE, C-TICK and CSA certified.
