The F650-B-F-G-F-2-G-1-HI-E is a processor/controller created by General Electric for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI platform, designed to manage gas or steam turbines, was released by GE as part of the Speedtronic family. It has an HMI(Human machine interface) and software designed for running heavy-duty turbines, such as the CIMPLICITY graphical interface.

The F650-B-F-G-F-2-G-1-HI-E is a separate boxed assembly with a front panel allowing communication connections, two screws mounted on the rear edge, and grille openings on three sides allowing air flow. The controller is installed in the cabinet with a base. Up to three components can be installed next to each other for a compact arrangement that easily serves triple-redundant systems.

The F650-B-F-G-F-2-G-1-HI-E is suitable for the QNX operating system. It has a Freescale 8349,667 MHz processor. Power supply range 180v dc~36v dc, power 12w. The board can be used at temperatures from 0 to 65 degrees Celsius and does not require fan cooling even at the highest temperature rating. The board can be used for NFPA Level 1, Div.2 applications.

The F650-B-F-G-F-2-G-1-HI-E front panel has six female ports, one USB port, and multiple LED indicators. This includes the front panel on the left side of the marked Link/Act of LED lights, and marked the Power panel, the Boot, Online, Flash, DC and a list of Diag light. The Jack connector is used for Ethernet connectivity, allowing the board to communicate with other MKVI,MKVIe or EX2100 excitation control as well as maintenance and operation stations
