The IC698ETM001 is an Ethernet interface module manufactured by Emerson Automation (formerly GE Fanuc Automation). The module is part of the PACSystem RX7i Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) platform, enabling any rack with the IC698ETM001 module to connect to existing Ethernet work. To facilitate data exchange with other controllers residing in the same network, remote I/O implementation, communication with visualization systems and third-party software and tools such as databases and enterprise software applications.
The IC698ETM001 features two (2) Ethernet ports, the robot is capable of transmitting data at 10/100 Mbps communication speeds, and has automatic sensing capabilities. These ports are designed for physical connection using RJ45 connectors and minimal CAT5 cable. These ports support Daisy chains, allowing linear, star, and ring topologies, and support unique or redundant IP addressing.
