The Bently 3500/50M tachometer module is a 2-channel module that accepts input from proximity probes or magnetic sensors to determine shaft speed, rotor acceleration, or rotor direction. The module compares these measurements to a user-programmable alarm setting point and generates an alert when the setting point is violated.

The 3500/50m tachometer module is programmed using 3500 rack configuration software. The following configuration options are available:

Speed monitoring, set point alarm and zero speed notification
