The dual-core TRACO T1023-07C communication processor and the single-core T1014 and T1013 communication processor are equipped with a 64-bit core, built on Power Architecture technology, and provide the Data Path Acceleration Architecture (DPAA) and network peripheral bus interfaces required for networking, telecommunications and industrial networking applications. The QorIQ T series platform offers optimized capabilities for the industrial market, including display interface units for HMI, UICC Engine for industrial protocol offloading, and ECC support for high-reliability "always on" applications. Only one inductor is needed to achieve buck and boost functions, so that fewer peripheral devices are needed in application, and effectively reduce the size of the overall solution and reduce the BOM cost.

The TRACO T1023-07C communications processor is available in a full-featured 23×23 mm package with scalability and pin compatibility with a quad-core T1042 processor (or even an octa-core T2081 processor), enabling flexible price and power adjustment in a single-system design.
