Function description
138607-01 is a transient data interface module developed by Bentley Nevada Corporation. It belongs to the 3500 series of components. The Transient Data Interface (TDI) connects the 3500 monitoring System to GE's System 1 mechanical management software. TDI combines the capabilities of 3500/20 RIM with the data collection capabilities of communication processors such as TDXnet.

Configuration key lock
Used to set 3500 units to run or program mode. Run mode allows normal tube rack operation, but prevents configuration changes.
PROGAM mode allows normal rack operation as well as local or remote rack configuration.
The key can be removed from the rack in any position to keep the switch running or programmed. Locking the switch in a running position prevents unauthorized rack reconfiguration. When the switch is locked in the program position, the rack can be remotely reconfigured at any time.
Front panel LED
Normal LED: Indicates when 3500/22M is operating normally
TX/RX LED: Indicates when the 3500/22M is communicating with other modules in the rack.
TM LED: Indicates when 3500 are in travel doubling mode.
Normal LED configuration: indicates that the 3500 frame has a valid configuration.
Alarm data collection
Before and after the alarm.
1 second static data is collected 10 minutes before the event and 1 minute after the event.
Static values of 100 milliseconds are collected 20 seconds before the event and 10 seconds after the event.
2.5 minutes of waveform data is collected every 10 seconds before the alarm, and 1 minute of waveform data is collected every 10 seconds after the alarm
