3500/42M is the Proximitor seismic monitoring component developed by Bentley Nevada. This is a four-channel monitor with short range and seismic sensor inputs. It compares the adjusted signal with a user-programmable alarm and adjusts the signal to produce vibration and position readings. The 3500 frame configuration software can be used to program each channel to monitor and report radial vibration, thrust position, rebar, acceleration, differential expansion, eccentricity, speed, and other parameters.

3500/42M function
The monitoring channels are set up in pairs and can perform up to two specified functions simultaneously. For example, channels 1 and 2 May perform one function, while channels 3 and 4 perform another or the same function.
The Proximitor seismic monitor protects the machine by comparing monitoring parameters and selected alarm Settings in real time, triggering an alarm. It communicates important machine information to operations and maintenance employees.
