Product description
The IS220PDOAH1A model features a discrete output packet and was designed with up to two I/O Ethernet and other discrete output terminals in mind. A special feature of this model is that it can control up to 12 relays and receive feedback signals from other terminal boards. Typical relays available for this model are solid-state relays and electromagnetic relays. Solid-state relays are used with TRLYH1B, C, D, and F terminals, while electromagnetic relays are used with TRLYH1E boards. The input received on this component comes from dual RJ45 Ethernet connectors and a three-pin power input.
A processor board is embedded in the IS220PDOAH1A package. There are multiple processors, including but not limited to status indicating leds, local power supplies for monitoring and sorting, high-speed processors including flash and RAM memory, and more. All information about the processor can be found in the GEH-721G Mark VIe Control System Guide, information can be found on pages 223 through 230.
The IS220PDOAH1A package has the output enable feature. In applications where power is supplied to the battery pack, all outputs are disabled until extensive internal self-testing is completed. The enable function provides a command independent path, which will ensure that the relay remains disconnected during battery pack initialization and power-up.
