SCANLAB has delivered the first digital encoder-based intellisande 14 scanning systems for integration into manufacturing tools. intelliSCANde 14 is a fully digital scan head with a digital encoder for position feedback, IDRiver-based digital control electronics and a 20-bit SL2-100 control interface. Ideal for high-precision machining, intelliSCANde 14 is designed for applications that require scan head speed and accuracy close to the high-end XY class.

The intelliSCANde 14's extremely low drift enables it to be tiled in high-precision applications, reducing the need for additional checks or readjust throughout the process. intelliSCANde 14 has no "visible" jitter, has perfect straightness and has a very high 20-bit position resolution. With a tracking error of just 130µs, intelliSCANde 14 is comparable to the fastest high-speed scanning heads available and has the highest processing speed without a burn out effect.

The intellisande 14 is mechanically and electrically compatible with SCANLAB's existing hurrySCAN II 14 and intelliSCAN 14 scan head families and can be used in a variety of laser processing Settings.
