The servo control card IS200VSVOH1BDC is designed for the application of I/O or pulse rate (speed) inputs to the servo valve interface. When used with pulse rate inputs, the VSVO card is used for shunt feedback in the servo loop. Pulse rate inputs do have a specific frequency range, i.e. 2 to 14,000 Hertz. Another feature of the VSVO card when used with the pulse rate input is the interface of the speed sensor, the two sensor types of the interface are passive or active. The card can also support two additional passive speed sensors, as long as they are used with a backup protection module.

As mentioned above, the IS200VSVOH1BDC card will use the servo valve interface I/O. When the VSVO uses this feature, a number of features are available, some of which are optional current drivers, feedback from the LVDR, the LVDT, and pulse rate inputs from the shunt feedback. VSVO cards can also be used with two or three coil servos, depending on the redundancy application chosen.

VSVO cards typically use four servo channels, each of which can use up to three LVDT/LVDR feedback sensors, as well as a median, high or low selection made in the software. Please note that the servo current output used with this model will be bi-directional. When the IS200VSVOH1BDC model is used for TMR applications, it is recommended to use at least two LVDTS/LVDRS, as each sensor requires an AC excitation source.
