The Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) with catalog number 5069-L320ERS2 is a Compact GuardLogix controller from Allen-Bradley. It is part of the modern and enhanced version of PAC devices, being part of the CompactLogix 5380 product family. This controller series is specifically designed to meet the modern safety, control, connectivity and integration requirements of the industry. It is SIL 2 rated with 1oo2 architecture.
With the built-in Two (2) Ethernet interfaces, this controller is able to communicate with existing or newly installed Ethernet networks that implement Linear, Star and Ring topologies. These ports may function in Dual IP node wherein each port is assigned with unique IP address and Linear / DLR mode where both ports share the same IP address, acting as an integrated switch. These ports support transmission speed of 10 / 100 / 1000 Mbps transfer speed. In addition, the controller is provided with One (1) USB port which can perform all type of communication and function except industrial connectivity. This USB port supports up to 12 Mbps communication speed.
The 5069-L320ERS2 is a Compact GuardLogix controller has 2 MB user memory, dedicated for standard function and 1 MB safety memory for safety functionality. It also supports up to 32 Tasks wherein 31 tasks are for standard functions and the remining 1 task is exclusively assigned for safety task. Regardless of the type of task, each task can handle up to 1000 programs and utilize all event triggers made available to the controller.
