The 3300 XL Proximitor sensor is a significant improvement over the previous design in the following areas. Its physical package allows you to use it in high-density DINrail installations. You can also mount the sensor in a conventional panel mount configuration, which shares the same 4-hole mount "footprint" front sensor design as the older one.

The mounting base of either option provides electrical insulation and does not require a separate isolation plate. The 3300XL Proximitor sensor is highly resistant to RF interference, allowing you to mount it in a fiberglass housing without being adversely affected by frequency signals from nearby radios.

The 3300 XL Proximitor sensor provides enhanced RF/EMI protection to meet the European CE Mark and requires no special shielded tubing or metal housing, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity. The 3300 XL's SpringLoc terminal board does not require special mounting tools by eliminating screw types, promoting faster and stronger field wiring connections to clamp devices that may be loose.
