The Mark VIe control system cabinet shall be installed in the environmental control room or the control room itself. The cabinet must be installed in a position where the floor surface can be connected on only one flat (flat, horizontal, and continuous) surface.
Installation hardware is provided by the customer. Provide lifting lugs, if a sling is used, at an Angle not exceeding 45° from the vertical plane. Finally, the cabinet has a door handle that can be locked for security. Interconnection cables can be accessed from the top or bottom of the cabinet through a removable access plate.
The duct leading to the access plate must be sealed for convection cooling of the cabinet. In addition, the temperature of the air passing through the pipe must be within an acceptable range. This is true for both top and bottom access plates.
